We heartfully thank all the people who participated in the events surrounding Thich Nhat Hanh's visit in Quebec in august 2005. The events announced below have passed, but we'll keep this site as a testimony of Thây's visit, and keep updating it with media events, pictures and useful information.

We are very happy to announce that Vietnamese Buddhist Zen Master, acclaimed author and peacemaker, Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh will be in Quebec, Canada, in August 2005.

His visit is a rare occasion for the people in Quebec and neighbouring provinces, many of whom only know Thich Nhat Hanh through his books, to meet him in person, and to learn firsthand the practice of Mindfulness, with him and with the monastic community, here in Canada.

Accompanied by more than a hundred monks and nuns, Thich Nhat Hanh will be leading the following events:

August 20 to 25 « Touching Peace » Mindfulness Retreat at Bishop University, Lennoxville (Quebec)
Friday evening, August 26th « Peace in oneself, Peace in the world » Public conference at Saint-Joseph's Oratory, Montreal (Quebec)
Saturday, August 27th « Reconciliation » Day of Mindfulness (in Vietnamese) at Maple Village, Bolton West (Québec)
